1956 Cadillac Series 62 Coupe

This wonderful, California, no rust ever (not a speck) '56 Caddy survivor was sitting in a dry storage unit in Bend, Oregon (the high desert) since 1978. The car was purchased by Harry Lyons of San Fransisco in 1959, he traded in his 1941 Caddy for this car. He bought it so he would have a car to take to Reno. Harry died in 1972 and left the car to his nephew Bob Zimmer. In 1978 Bob took a new job in Portland but decided to store the Cadillac in Bend's dry climate. He backed it into the storage unit intending to come back for it. Instead he paid the storage bill every month for 44 years! Check it out!

1967 Corvette 327/350hp Roadster

This project started with a good running car that looked good from 20 feet but needed some major work.  It is a nicely equipped car with the 350hp engine, 4:11 rear gears, leather seats, side pipes, the big block stinger hood and a perfect color combination. Check it out!

1986 Chevy Scottsdale

This truck has spent its entire life in the dry climate of the High Desert of Central Oregon.  It is completely rust free with all of its original sheet metal. It is a nicely optioned truck with cold A/C.   I have owned this truck for 20 years and it has always been ready to go whenever I needed it. Check it out!

1963 Cadillac Coupe De Ville

This project started with a very solid and complete car (with original paint) that had not been registered since 1976. It has every factory option except bucket seats and an FM radio.  It did not run but since it was rust free, loaded and intact, the decision was made to perform a complete frame-off restoration. The goal was to stay as close to factory correctness as possible. Check it out!

1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396

This project started with a mostly original car. It had a repaint in reasonable condition, bad chrome, and serviceable interior but needed a very thorough mechanical restoration. The 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 is now road trip ready and looks incredible. Check it out!

1966 Buick Gran Sport

A complete body-off-frame restoration on a drivable car that had tired older paint in a non- original color. The goal was to bring this wonderful car back to its original condition. The 1966 Gran Sport is not a common sight, especially a correctly restored one. Check it out!

1964 Corvette Fuel Injected Coupe

This 1964 Corvette Fuel Injected Coupe looked alright from a distance but the body, engine and transmission needed to be restored. The goal was to end up with a strong running Injected ‘Vette with a laser straight body and to be highly detailed. The goal was met. Check it out!

1959 Cadillac Coupe De Ville

100_6326.jpg

A complete body-on-frame restoration finished in its factory Woodrose color with matching rose leather and cloth interior. The goal was to have a seldom seen model of the 1959 Cadillac line brought back to a high standard in its stunning original finishes. Check it out!

About JCE Classics

All our cars and finishes are restored to factory specifications. The finishes match the original as close as possible. We use many trusted professionals for the different aspects of a restoration, such as machine work, upholstery, engine and transmission building, paint and body, plating and polishing.

Rebuilt original components are always preferred over reproductions, which includes mechanical as well as body and interior.  If reproductions are used, they are sourced from the most reputable suppliers. We try to use as many original fasteners as possible except when safety would be an issue.

Different levels of work can be performed depending on the shape of the car and the final goal.  We could go for a complete show restoration or a great looking highly capable driver.

Cars are thoroughly road tested.  The restoration is not complete until the car can drive safely and worry free.  After all, isn’t that the whole point?

Please contact us for any questions or more information. See you on the road!

1959 Cadillac

Hi Jim,

I just wanted to say how much I love the 1959 Cadillac I purchased from you. The car is exactly what you described. I still cant believe what an awesome restoration you did. The car looks like it has just rolled off the factory floor in Detroit. Everybody here in the Adelaide car scene love it. It has also won three car shows which is a testament to you and your craftsmanship.

From the very first day we spoke over the phone to when the car arrived here in Adelaide, South Australia you have been nothing but an absolute gentleman that is honest and ever so helpful and I am happy to have found a friend on the other side of the world. You made the transaction a breeze.

Anyway hopefully one day you can come to South Australia and drive her. Now wouldn't that be a blast. It is nice to know that there are still genuine people out there especially in the car scene. Until we speak again take care and good luck with your next restoration.

By the way our family has named the Cadillac ROSIE.

Kindest Regards,

Elio Vella from Down Under.
